Lisa M. LaRocca, DPM
Lisa M. LaRocca, DPM has been in private practice in Smithtown, NY since 1996.
Dr. LaRocca received a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook before graduating from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in 1996 with a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine (DPM). She completed her postgraduate residency in primary podiatric medicine and orthopedics at the Veterans Hospital in East Orange, NJ. In 1989, she returned to her roots in Long Island, where she has been in private price ever since.
Dr. LaRocca continues to expand her knowledge of foot and ankle conditions and advances in her field by attending the yearly New York Podiatric Clinical Conference and other conferences throughout the year. She participated in research studies while in school as well as in private practice in the fields of podopaediatrics (pediatric foot and ankle), the treatment of fungal infections, and wound care in the diabetic population.
Dr. LaRocca is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the New York State Podiatric Medical Association, the Suffolk County Podiatric Medical Association, and the American Association of Women Podiatrists.
Although Dr. LaRocca’s main passion is podiatry, she also enjoys cooking, and is an avid reader.
Lisa Schirripa, DPM
Lisa Schirripa, DPM has been in private practice in New York since 2000.
Dr. Schirripa began her postsecondary education at West Virginia University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology. She went on to attend the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine where she received her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine (DPM). Her postgraduate training included a two-year surgical residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at Hollywood Medical Center in Hollywood, FL. She then joined Dr. Ravitz and Dr. LaRocca in private practice where she has remained since 2000.
Dr. Schirripa is currently a member of the medical staff at several New York hospitals including St. Catherine of Siena Hospital in Smithtown, John T. Mather Memorial Hospital in Port Jefferson, and St. Charles Hospital in Port Jefferson. She is an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, New York State Podiatric Medical Association, and Suffolk County Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. Schirripa resides in St. James with her husband and three children.
Anthony Zizzamia, DPM
Anthony V. Zizzamia, DPM, is a podiatry specialist in Smithtown, New York.
In 2008, Dr. Zizzamia graduated Cum Laude from Adelphi University in NY with a bachelor’s degree in Biology. He then attended New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2012, where he graduated with a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine. Following his podiatric medical education, Dr. Zizzamia completed a four-year residency in trauma of the foot and ankle as well as foot and ankle surgery, at the level one trauma center, St. Barnabas Hospital located in the Bronx, NY. During his residency he served as Chief Resident and became certified in rearfoot and ankle reconstruction (PMSR, and RRA).
Dr. Zizzamia has affiliations with several area hospitals including St. Catherine of Siena Hospital in Smithtown, John T. Mather Memorial Hospital in Port Jefferson, and St. Charles Hospital in Port Jefferson. He is qualified in Basic Life Service (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
Marjorie Ravitz, DPM, FACFAS
RETIREDAfter nearly 40 years of dedicated service to her patients and the Smithtown community, Marjorie Ravitz, DPM, FACFAS, retired from practice on February 1, 2026. Throughout her remarkable career, Dr. Ravitz cared for generations of patients with skill, compassion, and dedication while helping the practice grow and evolve over the years. We are deeply grateful for her leadership, commitment and many contributions to our patients, practice and community. We are excited for Dr. Ravitz as she begins this well-earned new chapter and wish her many happy, healthy, and fulfilling years ahead.
